The Bull and the Foxhill!

exciting motocross series returns to Swindon

The UK’s most exciting motocross series returns to Swindon.

They’ll also be live music acts over the weekend with Saturday evening being the highlight. For those new to the sport there’ll be a motocross try out area with a qualified instructor and all the safety equipment but for those who don’t want to ride they can always watch the racing or stand in awe at the live mobile Freestyle motocross tour.

Between the Red Bull Pro Nationals races these talented action sports stars lay on an incredible show; backflipping and hanging off their motorcycles as they fly from ramp to ramp over 30 feet up in the air!

There’ll also be plenty of trade stands and food stalls to make sure everyone’s well catered for, and as always, unlike some sports the teams and riders are easily accessible to the public to sign autographs and have their pictures taken with the fans, but it’s the racing itself that will really set the place alight.

This event caters for the best motocross talent that the UK has to offer and they’ll all be keen to get off to a good start in their quest to be the best. Championships aren’t won at the first round but they can easily be lost and tension and anticipation will be high as the main protagonists look for a good, solid start to their campaign and quest to become the champions of their class.

Add to the fact that they’ll be flying 15-20 feet in the air over distances of 80-100 feet no more than a few inches apart and travelling at speeds of 50mph plus up and down the steep Foxhill circuit valley and it’s fair to say the racing will be intense! Who those champions will be is anyone’s bet but the opening round will give a good idea as it’s stacked out with talent.

All the reigning champions will be on show as they set about the defence of their titles. The Red Bull Pro Nationals also incorporate the MC Federation’s two other national championships – the Fuchs-Silkolene 2 Stroke British championship and the Red Bull Elite Youth Cup.

With championships to be won from the feisty little 7-10 year old whipper-snappers of the 65cc class, to the hard charging amateur riders of the 2 stroke championship right up through to the country’s top professional racers the racing comes thick and fast in a packed out programme.

The action kicks off at 9am on Saturday and wraps up at 5pm before leading into a great night with the live music and party atmosphere. Then it’s all systems go for 9am the following day to see who’s going to be walking away with the championship lead in all the respective classes.
